Introduction to Samaggi's Annual Academic Conference

Samaggi Samagom first organised our Annual Academic Conference in January 2008. The main objectives are, first and foremost, to organise an event which bring Thai students who study in the United Kingdom together, so that academic networks can be formed. The Conference also provides a stage for Thai researchers to present their work, and discuss and exchange ideas with those who study in the same or similar fields. Every year we accept and, after the selection process, publish excellent academic articles and presentations by Thai students.

Samaggi's Annual Academic Conference has received strong support, year after year, from the Royal Thai Embassy and the Office of Educational Affairs. Many important figures of Thai academia and Thai politics have taken the stage at the previous Conferences, which attracted high turn-out from Thai students across the country.

The Annual Academic Conference is held annually, over the whole weekend, in Spring Term, usually late January or early February.
